The OLMECA VACUUM range of rotary feedthroughs enable rotation to be transferred into a vacuum system, using a stiff high flux magnetic coupling. This removes the need for bellows orsliding seals, and provides an extremely robust design, fully compatible with UHV environments.

  • The TR range relates to the classical rotating feedthroughs which are supplied with CF UHV flanges and are available in four sizes to match the system flange and torque requirements of each application.
  • The TRC range relates to hollow rotating feedthroughs permitting services to be passed through the center. The TRC can be stacked one atop another providing to design multi axes of independent rotation. With the innovative OLMECA VACUUM solution, there is no limitation of stacked TRC, the limitations comes from the servicing diameter.

A number of actuation methods are available from manually driven units to pneumatic and motorized drives. The OLMECA VAUUM rotary drive uses as standard ceramic bearings for ultra-clean applications, such as semiconductor
production or UHV instrumentation. All the TR and TRC rotary drives uses as standard SmCo magnet. NdFeB can provide as an option. The TR and TRC rotary drives are compact, bakeable up to 250oC and offer true UHV performance.
